 Method Man / Redman: Blackout!
 Def Jam 2000 Records

Method Man / Redman: Blackout! In my opinion, the best rap album of 1999, these two from N.Y./N.J. just absolutely flow together like no other duo can. I had heard talk of this album about three or four months prior to it's release, and eagerly anticipated it's arrival to the record stores, and man was it worth the wait. With Redman's in-your-face style of rap blending with Method Man s smooth, sort of laid back style, a fan of rap music could not have asked for anything more from the two.

With songs such as "Tear It Off", "Fire Ina Hole", "4 Seasons" (feat. Ja Rule & L.L. Cool J), and "Dat's Dat Shit" (feat. Mally G), this duo definitely kept on their current heat streaks coming off two separate SMOKIN solo albums in 1999.
